Mid Sussex Village Residence

This charming country home in a Mid Sussex village underwent a transformative renovation, including the addition of a substantial double-story rear extension. Key upgrades involved reconfiguring the existing layout by opening up the kitchen to create a spacious kitchen-diner and removing internal chimney stacks to maximise usable space.

A unique and vibrant modern kitchen was designed to reflect the client’s taste, featuring copper accents and a striking splash-back. The dated interiors were replaced with contemporary elements, including new doors, a glass staircase, and Crittall doors that seamlessly connect the interior to a newly designed exterior patio.

The bathrooms were modernised with luxurious finishes, including Tadelakt plaster, and complemented by bespoke vanity units. For the master bedroom, Elizabeth designed a custom dressing table to enhance the space.

The overall design artfully blended modern furnishings, colourful glass lighting, soft textiles, and bold accents, perfectly capturing the client’s personality and style.
